Iniesta: Barca must believe

Andres Iniesta issued a rallying cry to his Barcelona teammates following Saturday's 5-0 victory over Cordoba in La Liga.

The midfielder has returned to La Blaugrana contention after recovering from a calf injury, and he urged his colleagues to believe in themselves ahead of the season's resumption in January.

"It's mission accomplished, now I have a few days off with the family, but I won't stop thinking about La Liga. I'm eager to return," he told Barca TV.

"The idea is to try to maintain this high point for the rest of the season, so things can get better.

"What we have to ask ourselves is why we are good. We enjoy what we do, it's what earns us our headlines, but the main thing is to train well and enjoy it, and hopefully the good work leads us to titles.

"We have to believe in what we do and think that things will turn out well if we improve. We must think beyond winning and losing and go step by step. The important thing is to have both ambition and enthusiasm.

"We've worked on all aspects, in defence and attack. Obviously if we don't concede goals, we have many options to score with our players. The balance is important, it involves everyone. The team work well and we're continuing to grow.

"I've felt important here for a long time, I respect many people at the club, train and play for their respect. Hopefully I can contribute my part to help the team win titles."
