Moyes: Villarreal my hardest test

David Moyes has admitted that Villarreal on Sunday will be his 'most difficult opponents' since taking charge of Real Sociedad.

The Scot remains unbeaten after three matches at the helm of the Basque side, with as many clean sheets in the process, but he is keen to see his troops 'do everything better' against the Yellow Submarine this weekend.

"Villarreal are strong, solid and my most difficult opponents to date," the Coach said at a Press conference.

"We'll have to be very good at the back, score goals and entertain the fans. In short, we must do everything better.

"It's an opportunity to improve [our away form]. I'm not worried [about our lack of goals]. So far, we've defended well, putting up a good barrier, and we'll do it again.

"We need more players [to chip in with goals], like Pardo, Canales, Zuru, Prieto, Granero … not just the attackers."

Moyes then praised Villarreal's stability over the years, before reflecting on the 2005-06 season, when his Everton team were eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers by the weekend hosts.

"They're a good team who have always maintained a good level over the years," the former Manchester United boss added.

"They have overseen many changes recently, but they're still a European team.

"2005 was an opportunity which could have changed everything at Everton, had we qualified for the Champions League, because of money we'd have received."
