Getafe Coach Cosmin Contra expects his players to give their all tonight against Deportivo La Coruna.
Contra has said at a pre-match Press conference that with the form Depor have shown of late it will be a difficult game and he hopes they’re not in the same vein as they were in beating Valencia.
“We competed well enough at home to Atletico Madrid and I’m proud of my players. I ask the same attitude in every game and if we can keep it, I’m sure we can win games,” he said, AS reports.
“We have to have that mentality of doing everything to win games. Deportivo is a hard game and even more so when they’re at home.
“They come having taken four out of six points and they won at Valencia, and in truth the change of Coach to Victor Fernandez [appointed over the summer] is doing a lot of damage.
“I hope we don’t catch them as they were against Valencia because that will be difficult.
“We’ve competed well these last five games and we’ve got confidence so we’re looking forward to a good game.
“The players have trained well and if I make any changes to the team it’s because of injury or suspension.
“I know that whoever plays is going to do very well but we will keep the same group that is playing.”
