Ancelotti: Few flaws in Barca

Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti has looked for flaws in the Barcelona team ahead of the Clasico but says he hasn’t found many.

Ancelotti has been interviewed on Cadena Ser, with his comments, on the team to play La Blaugrana, which Barca player he would sign if possible and his future at Santiago Bernabeu, reported by AS.

“Did I watch Barca against Ajax? Yes. Whenever I watch a team I look for flaws,” Ancelotti confirmed.

“But I haven’t been lucky. I haven’t found many.

“I think it will be a great match because there isn’t a match in the world with this quality. Although I don’t understand the kick-off time.

“Barca are much better than last year. Statistics say so – they haven’t conceded a goal in the League.”

Madrid go into the game on the back of a Champions League win over Liverpool, with Ancelotti giving an update on the fitness of the players after their Anfield exertions.

“It’s always difficult to play Barca but I’m sure we will play well,” he predicted.

“The team has been recovering. The most important thing is that Sergio Ramos trained well. He’ll play if he’s fit.

“The team won’t change much. With Dani Carvajal, who was rested, and Sergio, the team is done.

“Pepe took a knock. One of the centre-backs will be Ramos and if Pepe recovers well, he’ll play too.

“Sami Khedira may be a solution in midfield, because he has recovered very well. I put him in the Champions League final after not playing for six months. Sometimes you have to surprise them!

“Gareth Bale would play if he was fit. When he’s fit, he plays.”
