Barcelona’s Neymar was full of praise for strike partner Lionel Messi following the 3-1 Champions League Group F win over Ajax.
The pair put the Catalans 2-0 ahead in the first half and they looked to be cruising until Anwar El Ghazi handed the Dutch champions a lifeline two minutes from time.
However, Sandro Ramirez’s stoppage-time goal eased the nerves for Luis Enrique’s men, while Neymar also told reporters they are now looking forward to El Clasico this weekend.
“What Messi and I are doing is helping the team with goals, with passes. Messi is the best, he thinks so quickly, and is way above anyone else. But all the team played some good football.
“We are really looking forward to Saturday’s game. Now we need to rest to be ready for it,” said the Brazilian.
