Andres Iniesta and Thomas Vermaelen could feature for Barcelona in their next League game, against Athletic Bilbao.
Iniesta withdrew from the Spain squad due to injury and has been recovering with his club, alongside Vermaelen, Jordi Masip, Adriano and Douglas.
Vermaelen was signed from Arsenal over the summer but arrived with an injury, though AS reports both he and Iniesta are nearing a return.
Masip suffered a broken finger that is nearly healed, while Douglas is catching up on fitness after a late move to Barca from Sao Paulo.
Adriano, meanwhile, was found to have a heart condition and forced out of pre-season training until further tests were carried out.
The full-back was cleared to resume training last month and is now building up his fitness.
