Real Madrid have confirmed an agreement with Bayern Munich for the transfer of midfielder Xabi Alonso.
AS reports Alonso yesterday passed a medical with the German side and will complete the move today.
The former Spain international is to appear before the Press at11.00CET to discuss his decision to leave Santiago Bernabeu.
Alonso moved to Madrid in 2009, leaving Liverpool, and signed a new contract with Los Blancos in January.
The 32-year-old will be accompanied at the Press conference by Emiliano Butragueno.
