Levante have turned down offers from Porto and Atletico Madrid for Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
AS report that Les Granotes have rejected a bid of €3m from the Portuguese giants and a €5m approach from the champions.
Atletico’s offer also included forward Leo Bapistao and while Navas wants to leave his current club, Levante will wait for Costa Rica to play again at the World Cup in the hope Navas’ value continues to rise.
Navas has been a key part of the Costa Rica side that has thus far reached the quarter-final stage, with a game against the Netherlands to come later this week.
Levante are employing the strategy despite the risk of pushing the price too high, AS say, while Navas wants his future resolved before his World Cup comes to an end.
