Nolito: How can you say no?

Celta Vigo striker Nolito says he would completely understand if Coach Luis Enrique were to leave the club for Barcelona.

The tactician, formerly a Blaugrana player, is the heavy favourite to succeed current Camp Nou boss Tata Martino, who is expected to leave at the end of the season.

Speaking to reporters, the 27-year-old said he had no idea whether the move would take place but that if he were offered the chance to go to Barca, he would find it difficult to say no.

“I am a Celta player and if Barca called me, how would I be able to say no to them?” Nolito is quoted as saying by Marca.

“For me, if Barca called me up and I could join them, I would go.

“I don’t know what will happen with the boss in the future, if I could predict things I would buy a Euromillion ticket!

“You can ask him about it and see what he tells you. For me if I were in that situation at Celta and Barca called me, I would go. But I don’t know what the boss is thinking.”

Nolito was then asked about his own future at the club.

“I don’t think that Sunday will be my last match at Balaidos. I have three years on my contract and I am not thinking of leaving Celta. My family and I are very happy in Vigo.”
