Dortmund & Man City after Lopez?

Reports in the German Press this morning suggest that Borussia Dortmund could make a move for Diego Lopez.

The 32-year-old has become something of a contentious figure at Santiago Bernabeu since his arrival in January 2013.

The former Sevilla man has taken the place of fan favourite Iker Casillas for League games, performing admirably between the sticks for Los Blancos.

Bild though, have written on Monday that Jurgen Klopp’s men could table an offer for the veteran shot-stopper either this month or in the summer.

Casillas has been widely suggested as the man who will leave the club, citing a lack of regular playing time.

But the German tabloid has word that the Bundesliga side may make things slightly more difficult for Carlo Ancelotti’s team by bidding for Lopez.

Manchester City, according to the paper, are also interested.
