Alaves goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco has renewed his contract with the club although Real Madrid renew a buy-back option on the 24-year-old.

Madrid maintain a €4m clause to sign back the goalkeeper they sold to the Basque club in 2015 although this does expire at the end of the next transfer window.

Alaves have tied the goalkeeper down to a new deal at the Mendizorrotza, where he is having an outstanding season, until 2020.

Only four La Liga sides have conceded fewer goals than Alaves (22) this campaign and Pacheco kept a further two clean sheets to help his side to their first ever Copa del Rey final after a 1-0 semi final aggregate victory over Celta Vigo.
