Villarreal midfielder Manu Trigueros wants the Yellow Submarine to prove their superiority against Europa League opponents Dinamo Minsk.
Group E sees Villarreal second to Rapid Wien, who would go through to the next stage if they win at Viktoria Plzen, having beaten Villarreal at El Madrigal in the opening round.
“[First place] is important to continue to have options to do something in this competition,” AS quotes Trigueros as saying regarding qualification.
“We’re aware of what’s at stake. It’s a key game and we must be ready from the first minute.
“[Dinamo will be] a highly-motivated team who want to give joy to their fans. It’ll be a tough match.
“We know we’re the better team but we have to prove it. And they’ll have the extra motivation of wanting to win at home.”
