‘No motivation needed for Madrid’

Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero has admitted that playing against Real Madrid today is all the motivation they need.

The Costa del Sol outfit travel to Santiago Bernabeu this afternoon to face Los Blancos, and the shot-stopper has conceded that it is always special to face the capital club.

“We do not need motivation for us,” he told AS. “Playing against Real Madrid at their place is everything you need to give 100 per cent or more.

“I think the international break has helped us correct a few of our errors. We go there without any fear and with the ambition of trying to get a win there.

“Malaga have never won at the Bernabeu, so it’s obvious that we’re desperate to win.

“The Bernabeu is one of the best stadiums in the world. It’s a nice atmosphere there.”

Caballero then commented on the debate surrounding Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez.

“They are two excellent goalkeepers. Casillas was the number one last year, but Diego is that now and is playing very well.

“It is not for me to say which one is better or worse.”
