Granada are believed on the verge of concluding a deal to take Malaga’s diminutive winger Diego Buonanotte for €2.3m.
Club President Quique Pina commented yesterday that the Andalucians were close to taking the 24-year-old away from their regional neighbours.
Reports today suggest that a €2.3m deal has been agreed and that the former River Plate man will complete his switch on a four-year contract on Thursday, before the transfer deadline.
Granada have been one of the most active teams in this transfer window and yesterday presented Benfica striker – and former Barcelona B man – Nolito to the Press.
Buonanotte was in negotiations earlier in the transfer window over a proposed €3m-€3.5m switch to Serie A team Palermo, before talks broke down.
