Sevilla vs Osasuna

Miguel de las Cuevas has suggested anyone writing off Osasuna away at Sevilla should remember their last two results.

The Pamplona outfit head out to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for Sunday’s lunchtime kick-off currently occupying the third and final spot in the relegation zone.

Whilst acknowledging the complexity of facing Unai Emery’s men, Los Rojillos’ midfielder says Week 8’s win over Malaga and Week 9’s draw with Barcelona cannot be forgotten.

“We know that Sevilla is a difficult ground to go to. Away from home it is complicated, but we are looking forward, eager and confident in what we are doing,” De las Cuevas has affirmed to reporters today.

“To win against Malaga and draw with Barcelona, these were games that the fans did not count on us getting anything from, and we have four points.

“In recent games we have picked up points against difficult opponents and I think that we have that confidence that we lacked at the start of the season.

“And whilst we are still on a small number of points and are aware of that, the dynamic of the team is good and we are confident in what we are doing and we are facing our games ahead well.”

Kick off: October 27, 2013 (11.00 UK) – Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan
