Former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan believes his old side can defeat Barcelona in their Champions League quarter-final.
The Uruguayan, now aged 39, spent two years at the Red Devils before spending seven years in Spanish football across stints with Villarreal and Atletico Madrid.
“This will be a very different game for them, playing Barcelona,” Forlan told reporters.
“But they are a really good team and in football you never know what is going to happen. But they have a really good game in front, a difficult one.
“United have a really great team with good players and if they do really well at home then they have a real possibility of eliminating Barcelona.”
