Real Madrid want Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic

Real Madrid are monitoring the possibility of a move for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic despite the Italian champions asking price of €80m, say Diario AS.

The Bosnia & Herzegovina international penned a new contract at the Bianconeri last summer but the report claims he will talk to the club regarding his future again this summer.

AS draw on a report from Il Bianconero claiming that the 28-year-old, who is the club’s third highest earner (behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala) could be open to a move away from Italy.

New Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is said to be a keen admirer of Pjanic, who could form part of a squad overhaul at the European champions this year.

Last summer, there were reports that Barcelona were pondering a move for the former Roma player with English duo Manchester City and Chelsea also holding an interest.
