Atletico Madrid goal keeper Jan Oblak is set to put pen to paper on a new deal with the club, according to reports in Marca.
The Slovenian international, who joined Diego Simeone's side from Benfica in July 2014, has been in exceptional form this season and the club and his representatives now appeared to have reached an agreement on improved terms.
All parties are hopeful that the contract negotiations can be concluded in the near future. and Oblak confirmed his desire to stay at the Wanda Metropolitano, following his side's weekend win over Rayo Vallecano.
"I am under contract until 2021.
"But for now I remain calm and focused on my job on the field.
"I have said many times that I am happy here and if, in the end, I do sign an extension, I will be very happy."
