Newly-promoted Rayo Vallecano have completed a deal for former Manchester City player José Ángel Pozo, who joins from Almeria.
The former Spain Under-19 international made four first-team appearances at Manchester City in the 2014-15 campaign before signing a five-year deal with Almeria that summer.
The 22-year-old went on to become a regular fixture for the Andalusian outfit in Spain’s second tier but Union Rayo report he has moved to Madrid in a €1.5m deal.
Pozo made 104 appearances for Almeria, scoring eight goals and providing 12 assists, and he follows Gaël Kakuta and Emiliano Velázquez in arriving at the club.
