Getafe have agreed a deal to sign Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles, whose contract in England will expire at the end of the month.
The 27-year-old was born in Getafe and previously played for Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, before stints in England with Wigan and Everton.
El Mundo Deportivo says the shot-stopper has agreed a deal with his hometown club and will replace Vicente Guaita – who is also out of contract this summer and is linked to Crystal Palace – at the Coliseum.
A report in Diario AS last month stated how ‘a number of clubs’ were interested in Robles, including Depor in January, but he will join Los Azulones on a permanent basis next month.
