La Liga chief Javier Tebas has revealed that Eibar winger Takashi Inui will join Real Betis this summer.
Reports suggested Inui had agreed terms with Betis, and Tebas appeared to confirm his transfer in an accidental slip of the tongue.
“We must try to make clubs like Eibar, Levante and Leganes have players that are points of reference in certain countries,” he was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
“There’s Eibar with Inui, who is going to Betis next season, by the way.”
The Japanese has spent the past three seasons with Eibar, scoring 10 goals and assisting 11 in 88 appearances at Ipurua.
