Real Betis defender Alin Tosca has joined Serie A strugglers Benevento on a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign.
The Romanian only joined the Seville-based club last January but has found game-time limited under Coach Quique Setien this campaign.
An initial report in ABC de Sevilla claims the 25-year-old will join the struggling Italian side on an initial loan deal which will also include a purchase option for the summer.
Tosca played 17 matches in the second half of last season for Los Verdiblancos but has only featured in six league games this campaign.
His departure follows Marc Bartra’s arrival at Betis from Borussia Dortmund.
