Barcelona midfielder Paulinho risks a month on the sidelines after suffering a suspected foot injury against Espanyol on Wednesday.
Paulinho was taken off early in the second half at Cornella-El Prat, and AS reports the midfielder could have broken the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
Television cameras showed swelling after the Brazilian had taken his boot off, before ice was applied.
The newspaper concludes he will undergo tests on Thursday to determine whether or not there is a fracture.
Barca went on to lose the first leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final tie with Espanyol 1-0 after Paulinho’s exit from the match.
The 29-year-old, for his part, has scored eight goals for the Blaugrana since his €40m transfer from Guanghzou Evergrande last summer.
