It has been confirmed that James Rodriguez is now a Real Madrid player, signing a six-year deal with the club.
After impressing for Colombia at this summer’s World Cup, rumours have been rife that Los Blancos will make a move for the Monaco playmaker.
The 23-year-old admitted himself that it would be a ‘dream’ to play at Santiago Bernabeu earlier this month, and it has been confirmed now that his dreams will come true.
The former Porto man arrived in the Spanish capital on Sunday to much fanfare, and was seen at a Madrid hospital this morning for a medical.
But only now have the European champions actually admitted to the deal.
There has been no confirmation on what the attacker’s price tag will be, but rumours are that it could be anywhere between €75m-€88m.
The youngster will be presented at the Bernabeu at 19.00 BST.
