Sevilla President Jose Maria Del Nido has apologised to fans after a PA drowned out their protests at the weekend.
The Rojiblancos lost to Real Sociedad on Saturday, but supporters’ jeering was drowned out by a public announcement, something the club's owner has apologised for.
“As President of Sevilla FC, I am aware of the anger many of you feel after the music sounded out your protests after the game,” a statement read on their website.
“Therefore, I want to apologize.
“What happened on Saturday was an unfortunate error.”
