Pellegrini admits to being outplayed

Manuel Pellegrini has conceded that his Malaga side deserved to lose against Real Sociedad on Saturday evening.

Goals from Antoine Griezmann, Alberto de la Bella, Inigo Martinez and Carlos Vela gave the Erreala the three points that saw them extend their lead over the Andalusian's in fourth to four points.

And the Chilean Coach has admitted that his team's poor showing in front of goal cost them the game.

“It is always difficult to draw level against a good team like Real,” he told a Press conference.

“We were losing 2-0, and at that point, not even close. On the field there was a difference between us. Goals were the difference.

“It is always good to win, and there are always doubts when you lose – but in 90 minutes here we have had no superiority and not had that many chances.”
