Barca poor at times says Cesc

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas believed the Catalans were poor at times as they struggled to overcome a resolute Granada 2-0.

Fabregas saw his team held at bay by a fantastic performance from the Granada defence and visiting goalkeeper Tono, who he felt ‘had one of the games of his life’.

“We know every team today is difficult to beat but we have to be satisfied with how we reacted in the second half.

“It was the performance of a great team but Tono had one of the games of his life, although to begin the season well is always important.

“We are aware that there will be times such as this when we are poor at times, but this week will be long and we will be more relaxed. It’s good to have won,” Fabregas told assembled reporters, whilst also commenting on his own personal form.

“I’m feeling better all the time and in the second half the ‘keeper made some good stops from me, but I feel well physically and I’m happy.

“I have a different job and it’s good not only for me but the rest of the team that we score goals. Today we had a lot of chances,” he added.
