Predicted Real Madrid starting XI to face Sheriff in Champions League clash

Real Madrid are back in Champions League action this evening when they face Sheriff in Tiraspol.

Los Blancos were defeated at home by Sheriff earlier in the competition, but they head into tonight’s clash with the chance of guaranteeing their spot in the next round with a win.

Carlo Ancelotti‘s men have won all of their other games and currently sit on nine points, three points ahead of Sheriff and two ahead of Inter Milan.

Los Blancos of also returned to form in La Liga of late, winning three on the bounce and defeating Granada 4-1 last time out.

Real Madrid are now top of not only their Champions League group but La Liga as well, and the improved performances of late could see Ancelotti more or less keep trust with the starting XI he selected over the weekend.

Marco Asensio scored last time out and could well keep his place over Rodrygo, while the one change could be Eder Militao coming in for Nacho Fernandez at the heart of defence.

Here is the predicted starting XI in full.

(4-3-3) Courtois, Mendy, Militao, Alaba, Carvajal, Casemiro, Modric, Kroos, Vinicius Jr, Asensio, Benzema.
