RB Leipzig reject Sevilla on Peter Gulacsi

German club RB Leipzig have rejected a bid of €12m from Sevilla for their goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, according to reports.

Marca cite a report from reputable German outlet Bild that the Bundesliga club rejected the bid and value the shot-stopper at €22m.

The 29-year-old has starred for the club since their promotion to the German top flight in 2016, making 99 Bundesliga appearances in the timeframe since.

The Hungarian international is widely regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in the division, having previously been on the books at RB Salzburg in Austria for two campaigns.

He was formerly a goalkeeper at Liverpool and also had spells in England at Hereford Town, Tranmere Rovers and Hull City.

Sevilla are looking to add competition to number one goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik next season while Sergio Rico is thought to be leaving the club after returning from a loan stint at Fulham.
