Brahim Diaz to remain at Real Madrid for 2019-20 campaign

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has assured Brahim Diaz that he has a future at the club in 2019-20, and beyond.

According to a report in Diario AS, a club source has revealed that Zidane has no intention of loaning out he former Manchester City attacker next season, despite reports claiming that was an option.

The source stats that Zidane has informed Diaz that he is counting on him, and he will be included in their pre-season plans when he returns from holiday later this month.

However, Zidane is expected to oversee some departures from his 2018-19 squad, with Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente, Keylor Navas and Lucas Vazaquez all linked with moves away.

Diaz is expected to stay and fight for a place in the starting line up with Brazilian international Vinicius Junior, with Eden Hazard, Karim Benzema, Luka Jovic and Gareth Bale vying for the starting attacking spots.
