Celta Vigo have refunded all visiting Rayo Vallecano fans following their 2-2 draw at the Estadio Balaidos this weekend.
Already relegated Rayo Vallecano took over 2,000 fans to Galicia for the final game of the 2018-19 La Liga season, and Fran Escriba's side have responded with a sporting gesture to their rivals from the capital.
Rayo fans are known for their hospitality when sides visit Vallecas, and social media was filled with images of supporters from both sides mixing ahead of the Saturday evening kick off.
Celta had already secured their own top flight status for another season, with a better head-to-head record than Girona ahead of Game Week 38 meaning the Catalan side would have needed a miracle to turn their situation around, and they were in generous mood on the final day.
"We want to thank Celta Vigo for their gesture to the travelling Rayo Vallecano fans by refunding their tickets, tweeted Rayo's Federacion de Penas Twitter account.
"To claim your refund, go to the ticket office in Vallecas."
