Barcelona midfielder ivan Rakitic again reiterated his desire to see out his career at the Nou Camp – as the Ernesto Valverde's side sealed a second successive league title.
The Croatian international has been a key figure at the club, since his 2014 move from Sevilla, however he is yet to be offered a contract extension – which has caused speculation about his future.
The club's hierarchy have confirmed they will address the situation in the summer, and Rakitic is determined to stay.
"We deserved to win the title today.
"I am so happy here at Barcelona – I live for this club.
"At the moment I would like to say that another three years has been agreed, but I will remain calm and wait for the summer.
"I do not see myself anywhere else in my career, and I hope the club comes to me with the news on a new deal soon."
