Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is confident that his side can have their La Liga title defence wrapped up by the end of the weekend when they welcome Levante to the Nou Camp.
His side eased past Alaves on Tuesday night, to move them to within three points of winning the league, and the former Athletic Bilbao boss knows his side are on the verge of glory.
"It is very important that we get the three points that we need this weekend, but we must stay focused.
"Tonight's win has left us on the verge of the title, which brings immense joy after so many months of chasing it."
Barcelona could be crowned champions early, if Atletico Madrid fail to beat Valencia at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday night, but Valverde is happy to wait.
"It happens when it happens.
"I just happy to be in a position to be a champion again.
"Atletico will battle until the end and I will welcome the title when, or if, it comes."
