Atletico Madrid are considering a summer move for Roma defender Kostas Manolas to replace the outgoing Diego Godin, according to reports.
Diario AS cite a report in Calciomercato.it that Los Rojiblancos are keen on the Greek central defender, who still has a release clause worth €36m in his Roma contract.
Godin is said to have already agreed a move away from Atleti this summer when his contract expires, with Inter said to have already struck a deal.
Manolas, 27, joined the Giallorossi from Olympiakos in 2014 and has become a regular at the Italian capital club, famously netting the winner against Barcelona in last season’s Champions League quarter-finals.
