Kevin-Prince Boateng is burgled whilst on Barcelona

Barcelona midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng's house was targeted by burglars, during their 1-0 win over Real Valladolid on Sunday night.

Boateng, who joined Ernesto Valverde's side on loan from Sassuolo in January, was starting his first La Liga game for the side – only to find his house had been robbed earlier that day.

The former Ghanaian international, who lives in the Sarria district, to the north of Barcelona city centre, is reported to have lost between €300,000 and €400,000 worth of money and jewellery to the thieves.

It is not the first time this season that a Barcelona player has had their house raided, whilst away with the team, after defender Jordi Alba's home was targeted by criminals when he was playing against Inter Milan back in November 2018.
