Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde will extend his stay at the club according to reports in Diario SPORT this afternoon.
His current deal expires at the end of the season, however he has the option to extend for a third year something both sides are keen on.
The former Athletic Bilbao boss has yet to confirm if this is the case, however neither he, nor the club, have mentioned a potential exit at any stage.
Club president Josep Bartomeu also indicated that they are moving closer to an agreement, during an interview with SPORT.
"Valverde will be coach next season"
A final decision is set to be made in May, following the conclusion of the season.
