La Liga line-ups: Real Madrid-Real Sociedad

Vinicius Jr is preferred to Isco in Real Madrid’s XI for this evening’s visit of Real Sociedad in La Liga.

Injuries to Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio seemed to let in Isco, but Madrid boss Santiago Solari has opted to go with Vinicius on the left wing.

Elsewhere, Solari is able to name a full-strength back five and midfield, although Marcos Llorente and Mariano Diaz remain sidelined.

La Real, meanwhile, are down in 15th place after four straight defeats and sacked Coach Asier Garitano on Boxing Day.

Garitano has been replaced by Imanol Alguacil, who is promoted from the Basques' B team and hands a debut to left-back Aihen Munoz, with Theo Hernandez unable to face his parent club.

Madrid have won 18 of their last 22 meetings with La Real, not losing any of them on home soil.
