Huesca boss Francisco admits the manner of his side’s last-minute defeat at Valencia made him ‘lose a lot of heart’.
The newly-promoted side sit five points adrift at the foot of the table and eight points from safety following Sunday’s late defeat.
“After losing a game in that manner, you lose a lot of heart,” Francisco told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“With twenty minutes remaining, I saw everything very differently and I saw the opportunity to win, that we would find that bit of fortune we had been missing.
“The feeling is that every weekend we end up talking about the same thing – we play well, we dominate, we create chances but ultimately the end result is the same.
“We leave with zero points and this is not a reflection of what we have seen on the pitch but the reality is that we have just eight points.
“We were against a Mestalla who were not with their team but ultimately we left with nothing.”
