La Liga line-ups: Barcelona-Real Betis

Lionel Messi returns for Barcelona against Real Betis this afternoon, while Samuel Umtiti is a substitute.

Messi is back after less than a month out with an arm injury, lining up in attack alongside Luis Suarez and Malcom, who is rewarded for his goal against Inter midweek.

However, Ousmane Dembele is cut from the squad completely after missing training on Thursday, amidst reports the winger went AWOL for an hour and a half.

Elsewhere, Umtiti recovers from a knee injury to take his place on the substitutes' bench as Clement Lenglet partners Gerard Pique once more.

Betis, for their part, have won just two of their last seven games and drawn their previous two but have as many ex-Blaugrana players starting in Marc Bartra and Cristian Tello.
