La Liga line-ups: Real Madrid-Levante

Lucas Vazquez, Mariano Diaz and Marco Asensio form a new-look front three for Real Madrid against Levante in this early kick-off.

It is a far cry from the BBC trident that led Madrid to four Champions Leagues in five seasons, although Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema have only just returned from injury.

Elsewhere, Alvaro Odriozola stays on at right-back, Marcelo returns on the left and Isco partners Luka Modric and Casemiro in midfield.

The visit of Levante is a must-win for Los Blancos, who have gone four games without a victory, while it has been over six hours since they last scored a goal.

Madrid will endure the driest spell of their 116-year history if they fail to find the back of the net before the 56th minute against the Valencians.

Levante, for their part, have won back-to-back games and ended Barcelona’s season-long unbeaten run in the penultimate round of last term.
