Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets believes it is important to find ‘the best solution’ ahead of committing to league football in the US.
Speaking ahead of Spain’s UEFA Nations League clash with Croatia, Busquets was asked about plans to hold his club side’s fixture at Catalan rivals Girona in Miami next month.
“We want the best solution for the players involved in the game,” Busquets told reporters on Monday, as cited by Marca.
“It is important not only for the players to have their say but also for fans and football, everyone wants things to be done in the right way.”
The Spanish players union (AFE) has backed down on reported strike action that had been proposed last month.
