UD Ibiza look to Palladino

UD Ibiza are hopeful of continuing their Italian recruitment drive by enquiring for experienced striker Raffaele Palladino, say reports.

Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio reports the third-tier Spanish club have made enquiries for the former Juventus, Parma, Genoa and Crotone player.

The 34-year-old is currently without a club after playing with Genoa and Spezia last season and is said to be open to a move to Spain.

The club have confirmed the signing of former Milan and Roma striker Marco Borriello while Antonio Cassano, formerly of Real Madrid, has also been linked.

Ibiza are bankrolled by Amadeo Salvo, who is best known for his presidency of Valencia between 2013 and 2015 while they are attempting to generate great interest alongside building a team capable of promotion.
