Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is high on the radar of French champions Paris Saint-Germain, claims a report in El Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan-based media outlet states the Croatian’s impressive World Cup elevated him onto the French club’s radar and they see his €125m release clause as affordable.
Earlier this month, the same newspaper reported both PSG and Monaco were interested in the former Sevilla midfielder and were weighing up offers.
Rakitic was the most used player last season by Barca boss Ernesto Valverde and since his arrival at the club from Sevilla in June 2014 has been a fixture in the starting line-up.
The Croatian’s deal at the Camp Nou runs through until 2021 while the interest of PSG runs parallel to Barca’s alleged desire to join French midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
