Espanyol forward Sergio Garcia has renewed his contract by a further twelve months, a year after re-joining the Catalan club.
The 35-year-old returned to the RCDE Stadium last June following a two-year spell at Qatari club Al-Rayyan, scoring three goals last season.
The one-year extension has been agreed alongside the club’s sporting director Oscar Perarnau and will now play for a seventh season at the club.
Garcia has previously played for Barcelona, Levante, Real Zaragoza and Real Betis, but is most well-known for his first spell at Espanyol between 2010 and 2015.
