Stoke City have completed the signing of Nigeria international midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo, who spent last season on loan at Las Palmas.
The 22-year-old is a part of the Nigeria squad at this summer’s World Cup tournament and has signed for the Championship side from Portuguese club Feirense in a €7.2m (£6.35m) deal.
Etebo, who has won 14 caps for his nation, impressed across 14 appearances for Los Amarillos following his loan switch in January, but was unable to save the Gran Canarian club from relegation.
“We're really excited to have got the deal over the line for Etebo,” Potters boss Gary Rowett told official club media.
“I'm looking forward to seeing him in a Stoke City shirt as I'm sure our supporters are too.”
