Barcelona have announced that defender Samuel Umtiti has signed a new contract with the club until 2023.
A statement on Barca’s official website confirms Umtiti will put pen to paper on Monday morning, before speaking to the media at 09:30 BST.
AS also reports the Frenchman has agreed to raise his €60m release clause, which had been the second lowest in the Blaugrana’s squad.
The 24-year-old joined Barca from Olympique Lyonnais in the summer of 2016 for €25m and has gone on to make 83 appearances at Camp Nou, winning a Liga title and two Copa del Rey.
