Sergio Busquets insists that despite Barcelona losing their unbeaten record at Levante it has still been a wonderful season.
“We wanted to finish the year unbeaten but that doesn’t take anything away from what we have achieved,” said the Barca midfielder.
“We were caught out many times on the counter-attack and at other times our concentration let us down, but when you have five goals put past you it’s very hard to take anything positive away.
“When you are losing like that it wears you down, although we even had chances to have drawn the match. But it wasn’t to be. On the one hand there was a reaction from the team, yet on the other we had conceded five, so it was difficult.
“However, despite this game we have won the league, done incredibly well, so it’s something to be proud of.
“I’m sure we’ll celebrate on the last day of the season in the Camp Nou. It will also be Andres Iniesta’s farewell so we are going to have a party,” he added.
