Eintracht Frankfurt forward Kevin Prince Boateng is ‘not concentrating’ on his future amid reports he has agreed to join Real Betis.
The 31-year-old joined the Bundesliga club last summer from Las Palmas and has netted six times in 29 appearances this season.
A report in Diario AS outlines the Ghanaian international is under consideration by Los Verdiblancos and he played under Quique Setien during his one-season stint in Gran Canaria.
“I’m not concentrating on my future,” Boateng is cited as saying.
“I’m focused on the end of the season and I will not comment on what will happen after.”
Frankfurt have the player under contract until June 2020 but reportedly ‘would put no obstacles’ on a departure for Boateng, whom they signed on a free transfer.
The German club are losing Coach Niko Kovac – who was instrumental in Boateng’s move – to Bayern Munich this summer.
Betis have reportedly already agreed the free transfers of Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez, Takashi Inui from Eibar and Real Sociedad's Sergio Canales.
