Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero believes his old club and Italian rivals Roma can still progress past Spanish sides in the Champions League.
The Old Lady lost the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final 3-0 at home to Real Madrid while Roma crashed to a 4-1 loss at Barcelona at the Camp Nou last week.
“Juventus and Roma are great teams and going through is still possible,” Del Piero told RMC Sport.
“Anything can happen, even against great teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona. The psychological aspect and the desire for redemption could be crucial.
“It will be difficult, but as an Italian and a Juventino I hope they can go through.”
Roma host Barca tonight in the Stadio Olimpico while Madrid take on Juve at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
