Valencia striker Simone Zaza has been linked with a move away for the club this summer despite netting 11 goals this campaign.
The former Juventus forward has fallen out of the starting line-up at the Mestalla since the turn of the year and despite scoring as a substitute against Real Betis on Sunday, he vented his frustration.
“I was playing every match as a starter but I am not any longer, so I must have done something wrong,” Zaza told Cadena Cope on Sunday.
Now a report in Gol Digital states Valencia would be open to selling the Italian in a cut-price deal this summer, as the club are short on funds and must sell players to reinvest.
A deal as cheap as €5m could be accepted, according to the report, and Atletico Madrid may view him as a replacement for the outgoing Fernando Torres.
